Neuroscience Across Disciplines Workshop
(12 Jan, 2012)

The Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience (CIN) Research Group and the Department of Computer Science (University of Cyprus) have organised a half-day workshop titled “Neuroscience Across Disciplines”. The general aim of the workshop was to highlight the different approaches taken to understand how the brain works and stimulate further discussions among scientists from different disciplines.

The topics of the talks were very diverse ranging from the cellular to the behavioural level. The workshop attracted participants from both theoretical (e.g. mathematics, computer science, engineering) and experimental sciences (e.g. biology, clinical and psychology). Given the success of the workshop and the positive feedback from the participants, it was decided that the workshop be repeated on an annual basis.
